Anyone know where i can get a horse for sale(gelding)?

i want a gelding. well i need a gelding. umm 5-8 years old. easy to ride. clam but not to much. well do anything for you. doesnt rear,buck or spoke. can go on trail,trailers,stands when getting on,and for its shoes, easy to give shots. nice to kids and dogs. and close by(california), gets along with others. and friendly. doesnt matter what breed. price could be anywhere from 1,000 or 5,000 i could do a little more. please tell me.

Horseback Riding Trail Rides

What to wear horseback riding?

This is my first time horseback riding. I am only going for a birthday party but we are going on a five mile trail ride. I have no idea what to wear. Any ideas? Shirt? Shoes? Pants? I don’t want to go buy something, so no riding boots or anything. Thanks!

You will want to wear jeans, or you’ll end up with a bad case of saddle burn. (Worse than any carpet or mat burn you’ve ever had I promise) I understand that you don’t want to go out and buy anything just for a one time deal, but if you can borrow boots from someone then that would be great! I would strongly suggest not wearing tennisshoes or flip-flops because they can get hung up in the sturrups easily. As for shirts, any t-shirt or shirt that covers you well will work just fine. Moving mobile homes…?

November 2007 we had a NEW mobile home built to our specifications. They are not like the old boxy trailers you find but has actual real walls and is nicer then some actual houses. We are currently leasing a lot from hubby’s step father where our trailer now resides. We are horse people and an acreage that we have been wanting to come up for sale has just become available so we are hoping to move the trailer since it is only a year old and in pristine condition. The land we are looking at has no house but everything is ready to be hooked up to a home, plus it is only about a 2-3 miles out of the hamlet.

does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to have the trailer moved? It was included in the building price when we had the place built so I have no idea what it would cost.

any ideas?

I am located in ALberta canada and i have seen some pretty scary older trailers being moved so i know it can’t be a horrible amount or the trailer wouldnt be worth it.

You should just get an estimate. They aren’t usually more than $1000 to move if you have wheels and tongue on it. The bigger cost will be getting utilities hooked up. I have known people to move them a few miles by themselves with a tractor.

What are some good video games for X mas?

I have a ps2, a game cube and a nintendo ds. I have no idea what games I should ask fore. I like horse back riding games, adventure games that aren’t too complicated, pokemon games. Stuff like that. Please helpp!!!

Horse trailers, What’s the best makes to have? Has anyone owned a pegasus trailer?

I’ve never owned a trailer before and I will be buying second hand. Im going to look at a pegasus trailer tomorrow and it sounds good to me but I worried because I’ve been told to go for Ifor Williams, Hunter or rice trailers. All the help would be great.

Pegasus trailers are quite good. They have a good reputation, you could go a lot worse than having one of them.

What to do in the Poconos when it’s going to be raining?

I’m going to the Poconos for the weekend with my boyfriend and two of our friends (another couple). But unfortunately it’s going to be raining all day tomorrow and be really bad between 3 and 5. Basically everything I looked up to do is outdoors (horseback riding, kayaking, miniature golf, etc). I haven’t been there in awhile and don’t know the area well. What is there to do when it’s raining? We’re staying at Werry’s in the Marshalls Creek area. No bars, pubs or other drinking suggestions. Me and my bf are 20, and the other couple is 18 and 21, so 3 of us are underage but don’t drink anyway. Just so you know.

Any suggestions???? (Can be for what to do in the motel too, but preferably stuff to do in the area outside the room).
No foursomes. We’re not like that. I had a feeling at least one person would suggest that though. lol!
NO SEX STUFF! I just said we’re not like that! Serious answers please!

Horseback Riding San Diego

Where is a good place to camp in Southern California?

The last two years I have gone to La Jolla Indian Reservation to camp but after the October wildfires many acres were burned. I am trying to find another location. I am looking for somewhere no more than 2 hours away from San Diego, with some kind of water (lake, beach, etc). The La Jolla Indian Reservation only has a creek, which works just fine. Preferably I would like to find a campground with fun activities (boating, horseback riding, water activities, etc). If anyone can recommend such a campground I would greatly appreciate it.

if i were you i would drive a couple more hours and head up this way by san bernardino area.
some great places to campe are silverwood lake off the 15frwy right be victorville, or big bear, lytle creek, or even camp on the beach. malibu as nice camp grounds or even hungtinton beach.
Or if your want even go to glamis get some atv’s quads ride those around the desert =)
